Television's Dr. Gadget Brings the Hottest New Products to the Fall Home Improvement and Remodeling Expo
September 3, 2004 -- Dave Dettman, better known as Dr. Gadget, will be bringing and demonstrating the latest and greatest consumer products to the 2004 Fall Home Improvement and Remodeling Expo that will take place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19.
The funny and energetic Dr. Gadget regularly appears on television programs including the Wayne Brady Show and will be a regular on the Tony Danza Show, premiering September 14, 2004, on ABC. An author, inventor, marketing expert and consumer product specialist, Dr. Gadget has traveled the world promoting and searching for the latest consumer products. Soon to appear in the November release of 20th Century Fox’s motion picture Mr. and Mrs. Smith starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Dr. Gadget will bring his expertise and entertaining demonstrations to consumers at this year’s Show.
Show attendees will have an opportunity to see the latest products in action, and some will even take them home. Dr. Gadget will be giving away more than $5,000 worth of new products to lucky Show attendees. In addition, Dr. Gadget will be providing the Q Vision Electric Chariot with a retail value of $3,000 and other prizes for the New Products Prize Bonanza sponsored by the Home Show and B-103 FM. The futuristic Rad2go Q Electric Scooter is a battery-operated scooter with a range of 18 miles. Show hours are Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the Show is $8, plus a $1.50 Nassau County surcharge.
